European based sporting events are something that has not been big with the channel. That being said they are trying their best to air some of the better events in Europe. One of the biggest European events of the year is the UEFA Champions League final. This was eventually seen on Fox Sports on May 22, 2010 and created a huge following.

Whilst a lot of the events that are televised are national and followed by the whole of United States, Fox certainly saw a niche in the market. They have managed to create several bonds in the industry that allow them to broadcast regional events in line with current league market distribution rules. Take the likes of FSN Utah, which shows Utah Jazz and even Fox Sports West, which includes major Los Angeles Lakers and other regional events.

Whilst the corporation is focusing on their bigger channels, they do have a lot of smaller regional channels on US cable which show a variety of sports. The cable channels enable Fox to connect with the smaller more targeted audience in all kinds of areas. All of these channels carry the Fox Sports banner to help to brand Fox as a national corporation.
One of the most popular channels is Speed, which features auto racing. It broadcasts events such as NASCAR and covers some of the big Formula One races. For Soccer fanatics, there Fox Soccer Channel is certainly the place to be. It features events such as the Club World Cup, English Premier League and Major League Soccer. On the other hand, people that enjoy extreme sports are treated as well, with Fuel TV airing the likes of Snowboarding and even Freestyle Motocross.

Broadcasting in the United States has been literally revolutionized by this channel. The graphics that are used help to brand Fox Sports extremely easily, with most sports fans being able to identify their brand.
